Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer
My first Linux Systems Administrator job was in 1994, already having a few years experience as a hobbyist and student running Linux, NetBSD and Solaris systems. I’ve followed key industry trends since, focusing on networking, virtualization, configuration management, application distribution (service oriented architecture) and containers. I have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as system administration tools and back-end software development in multiple programming languages.
